This article was written by Vince Jordan
If you are being driven mad by weeds plan your battle with them well in advance. Remember weeds really don't care about you.
1. Do a thorough job of getting rid of perennial weeds before you plant, sounds simple but so important.
2. Never just rotovate an area then plant directly into it perennial weeds can re grow from small pieces of root or stem left in the ground. It's best to turn over the soil with a digging fork, breaking up any clods and removing any roots you find.
3. Cover the area black plastic or spray with weed killer but remember this can take up to a year to be effective.
4. When you see a weed, remove it straight away.
5. Get a professional company to remove the weeds and plan your new outside area for you.
